Kővirág Bistro

The challenge
Friday bookings used to arrive by phone in the middle of service, and every menu change meant a new PDF that was out of date within a week.
The solution
An online menu the kitchen edits from a phone, a reservation widget that confirms tables without a call, and Google Maps and reviews kept in sync with the site.
In detail
Kővirág is a 40-seat bistro in Budapest’s seventh district. The owner wanted one thing: fewer phone calls during service. The site now answers the questions guests actually ask (what is on the menu tonight, is there a table, how do I get there) before they have to call.
The menu is edited by the kitchen from a phone, so the seasonal plates change on the site the same evening they change in the pass. Reservations land in the booking widget the restaurant already used, with confirmations sent automatically.
“Friday bookings used to arrive by phone, mid-service. Now they come in overnight, and I change the menu myself in two minutes.”
